Welcome to April's section of Ecoliteracy for Educators.

To kick off this month, I wanted to share this brilliant monthly podcast by Lia Leendertz, author of The Almanac. April's podcast can be found here if you use apple podcasts or here on Sound Cloud.

This 20 minute episode takes us through all the wonderful happenings in the animal and plant kingdoms this month as well as a beautiful Ukrainian folk tale about April's weather.

From Monday 4th April you'll have access to resources exploring the ID and folklore of:

Then around halfway through the month the section on trees will be released so as to not overwhelm you with new resources! These are the trees for April:
